MISHA MAYFAIR
is a Pornhub award-nominated porn actress and artist specialising in fetish. Misha uses her films to bring femme fun to the male-dominated gonzo genre along with activism highlighting the ethical needs of those who make it.
XENIA BLACK
is a very eclectic artist. She created her path focus on painting, photography, modelling and pole dance performances. Her life has been inspired by Greek tragedies, techno, metal, fetishism, magic, fashion, erotism, noir and surrealism. Her artworks are provocative and sublimate the sexual desire, in a balance between human and divine.
KRIS CANAVAN
is an artist that has been utilising their creative endeavours to explore the political landscape and it’s impact on the collective and individual body since 2001. These gestures of defiance and dissent have been lovingly made with blunt trauma, bodily fluids, body piercings and surgical staples, to convey messages of shame, social decay, loss, longing and the desire for a level playing field through ritualised aktion, self sacrifice and labour intensive durational works.
SLAVINA
defines herself as a porn activist. She’s a multimedia artist and educator – she works internationally, as individual and in collective projects on intimacy and radical sexuality (especially focusing the intersection between body politics and ethic of care).
CHRISTIAN GEISLER
captured the last remaining Videokabinen in Germany in his photographic project. His works shall set the tone for this dynamic screen experience.

▇ DADDY, WHAT IS A VIDEOKABINE?
In 1968 the first sex cinemas opened in Denmark. Back then, pornography was still VERBOTEN in Germany. But real soon high-street cinemas replaced the shady back rooms, where nefarious pornographers presented the so-called “noodle films”. These came mostly smuggled from Scandinavia, in super8 format and seemed only available to a small group of customers.
The cinemas in places such a Hamburg became hot spots of the gay scene and into the late 90s, hundreds of sex cinemas should open across Germany.
As video reproduction technology developed not the only tape shrunk but also the cinemas: The one-seater Videokabine was the new wave in assisted self-love devices.
Many of the old Videokabinen simply didn’t survive the internet boom. But Videokabinen weren’t only under threat by the rise of the world wide web. The European Court of Justice decided in a dispute over VAT, that sex video booths are not cinemas and as such not only the full VAT of 19% is due, but also entertainment tax. According to the Luxembourg judgment, solo adventures do not count as a cinematic experience – only shared pleasure does.

MARIABASURA
is an anarchist South American multidisciplinary artist and DIY activist monster, pouring her strong anti-fascist, anti-colonial, anti-racist and transfeminist stance into her work as a professional theatre actress, pole-dancer, p__n & postp__n performer, p__novandalism director, political action troublemaker and bizarre-dom. She is also the director and researcher behind the “F__k the Fascism” project, part of the Terrorismo Teatral Migrante anticolonial collective and alternative p__n crew Minus is Valido.
WINTER JAMES
is an international escapism artist in both flesh and live music performance. Based in London, the political message in her work always seeks to dismantle the relationship between sexuality and shame in a capitalist society. This piece brings a baptism of flesh, blood & MILK with a different kind of church service. Singing live and giving birth to a new kind of sin. Don’t forget to hold your breath. Environmental note: It’s plant-based and will be consumed after the performance. No wastage!
JORGE THE OBSCENE
(a.k.a. Jorge Benavides) is a Chilean filmmaker and performer based in Berlin. Since a few years he has been experimenting in queer p__n; as a producer in the short film series “F__k the Fascism”, leading roles in the films “Piedad” and “Lemon Taste” and appearances in other films. “The MultiVerse in a MouthF__k” is his first film as a director. He is an Artist, Therapist and SWer.
MOUSE
is a performer renowned for her provocative body art. Her work is situated somewhere between immobilising disturbance and sticky girliness, childlike enthusiasm and f*tish punk. The contradiction between her childlike looks and the hardcore acts she performs destabilise the boundaries of art and p___ography and addresses deeply rooted convictions about s__uality and gender.
” ‘The Operation’ was created by Marne Lucas and Jacob Pander and shot in 48 hours. This film represents a merging of their equal fascination with the macabre beauty of the human body as viewed by science and technology, by using infrared imaging devices, the boundaries between physical and intellectual stimulation become blurred. Their exploration of erotic imagery stems from an interest in the viewers psychological, s__ual and intellectual response”.
Christian Geisler
captured the last remaining Videokabinen in Germany in his latest photographic project. Another set of this collection will be displayed in our digital gallery during the show again.
