UNCENSORED FESTIVAL began life in 2019 ago in the core of East London as an urgent response to the tightening grasp on censorship; we were specifically exploring pornography at the intersection of art and activism with a strong emphasis on creating a space for freedom of expression and collective creative counteractions.
We are back with an exciting program of film screenings and a whole bunch of juicy surprises!
This time UNCENSORED will happen both in two different venues in East London (11th and 15th of May 2022) and online on PinkLabel TV, so all you international porn lovers can join us!
This edition’s program will be centered on an international open call for short films, features, documentaries and video art, welcoming new perspectives and narratives around sexuality and intimacy, through a playful, critical and fluid cinematic gaze.
Also, expect talks, performances and music for a more immersive erotic journey in the flesh in three iconic London’s venues – The Helgi’s, The Moth Club and The Hen and Chicken– and a final awards’ ceremony led by an international jury’s panel.
How to submit
We are calling for short films, feature films, documentaries (shorts and features) and video art/experimental. The format required is HD1920X1080.
We request that English-language subtitles accompany all movies.

Awards will be assigned by the festival’s jury composed of international film practitioners, performers and artistic directors.

We will accept any work realised after January 2020. Participants must be aged 18 and above.
All submissions are subject to the consensual agreement(s) between the filmmaker/producer and the performers. Uncensored Festival holds no responsibility or rights to the content and will not be liable to any issues that may occur due to, or in part, to the submissions.
